Do your eyes decieve you? Is the Caligari Bass already complete after only
a few short weeks?
In order to verify the size of the bass before the wood was
cut, Jack took the design illustration and blew it up to life-size. It
is shown here between a Fender Jazz and one of Jack's own basses. In the end
Liam felt it was slightly smaller than he'd expected, so Jack decided to
cut it a fraction larger all around - not enough to change the balance, but
just enough to increase its apparent size. |
