My background in arts and computer
science uniquely qualifies me to do just about anything.
I'm no longer actively freelancing as a web
designer/developer, and contracting while I bring up my children, Orson and Miranda.
Now, in my spare time I'm not tinkering with graphics, programming and web pages, I'm writing. I have in the past played in bands, lifted
weights, practiced martial
arts and been a regular roleplayer. Right now it's hard to fit in the odd dogwalk or trip to the roller rink.
In the mists of time before children, I worked building (mainly corporate)
websites for a great little web development firm called mmpowered
communications which, unfortunately, folded at the end of 2001.
No hard feelings - I still keep in touch with the fine people I worked
with there. Prior to that, I worked for two years at Beam Software
(another great bunch of people, by and large) in their Internet department,
and before that I spent a lot of my time writing and editing material
for roleplaying games company Chaosium. |
